Areas of focus will include evaluation of organ donors as well as an overview of important topics for trainees in the field of solid organ transplantation such as HLA typing, management of acute and chronic rejection, emerging management strategies, etc. We will also be highlighting the importance of trainee wellness and discussing methods and tools to avoid burnout. The primary goal of this symposium is to equip trainees with the knowledge and tools needed to deliver premium care for pediatric solid organ transplant patients. We also hope to encourage trainees to be the next generation of leaders in the field of pediatric solid organ transplantation
